Meet the C4 Fabrication Tundra Overland Series Front Bumper for 3rd Gen Toyota Tundra (2022+). Built for serious off-road and overland adventures, it delivers rugged front-end protection, versatile lighting options, and seamless integration with your truck’s safety systems. This bumper prioritizes safety tech compatibility while expanding recovery and accessory capacity.
This design preserves the Toyota Safety Sense System (TSS), park sensors, and the front-mounted camera. All bull bar options remain compatible with TSS, with thoughtful considerations for camera visibility and sensor behavior during installation and use.
Key Features
- Retains full functionality of Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), park sensors, and front camera. All bull bar options are compatible with TSS. Note: some TSS recalibration may be required after installation if sensors are moved from their original location.
- Camera and sensor guidance: Low-Height and Mid-Height bull bars may appear in the camera view but do not fully obstruct visibility; ensure proper sensor orientation per the install video and level the vehicle for optimal sensor performance.
- Lighting readiness: Designed to fit a 40" single-row Baja Designs S8 light bar. Light cutouts are a fixed feature and cannot be removed.
- Fog light compatibility: Accepts one pair of Baja Designs Squadron fog lights; OE fog lights cannot be reused.
- LP9 compatibility: Will fit LP9s on all options except the low bar; bumper is not pre-drilled for these lights.
- Installation notes: Requires cutting the plastic bumper panels under the headlights on both sides and trimming the end of the fender flares to install. An install video provides detailed, step-by-step guidance. Bumper includes holes to reattach factory fender liners.
- Protection and recovery: Includes a front skid plate replacing the factory plastic skid plate and 3/4" thick welded D-Ring tabs (front and back).
- Construction: 3/16" laser-cut P&O steel with 1/4" mounting plates and 1/4" winch plate; bull bar tubing is.120" wall with 1 3/4" and 1 1/2" HREW tubing. Designed to accommodate winches typically in the 8k-12k size range (verified fitments listed).
- Winch compatibility: Fits most 8k-12k winches; verified fitments include WARN VR and ZEON 10k/12k. Does not fit Smitty XRC 12k. For best results, use a synthetic rope with a hawse-style fairlead; some roller fairleads may be too large for the recessed fairlead plate.
- Weights and handling: 160 lbs (no bull bar), 168 lbs (low bull bar), 174 lbs (mid height with gussets), 182 lbs (full bull bar with headlight hoops).
- Finish option: Unless you select the powder-coated option, the bumper will need to be painted or powder-coated before installation to prevent rust.

Lighting, Winch, and Accessories
- Lighting readiness: 40" single-row Baja Designs S8 light bar ready; fixed light-cutouts cannot be removed.
- Fog lights: Accommodates Baja Designs Squadron fog lights; OE fog lights are not reusable.
- Winch compatibility: 8k–12k winches supported; WARN VR and ZEON 10k/12k verified; Smitty XRC 12k not supported.
- Fairlead and rope: Synthetic rope with hawse fairlead recommended; some roller fairleads may exceed space in the recessed area.
Installation and Maintenance
- Installation involves cutting plastic bumper panels and trimming fender flare ends; refer to the detailed install video for step-by-step guidance.
- Sensor and camera considerations: Ensure parking sensors are oriented correctly and the vehicle sits level for optimal sensor performance; excessive forward rake may cause higher sensitivity or intermittent activations.
- Maintenance: If not ordered with a powder-coated finish, repaint or recoat to prevent rust over time.
Use Case Scenarios
- Overland and expedition builds that require serious front-end protection, recovery points, and lighting capability without compromising safety systems.
- trucks equipped for rock crawling, remote travel, or desert crossings where winch-ready capability and robust construction are advantageous.
