C4 Fabrication Tacoma Hybrid Front Bumper / 2nd Gen / 2012-2015

Introduction

The C4 Fabrication Tacoma Hybrid Front Bumper is a rugged bolt-on upgrade designed for 2012–2015 Toyota Tacoma 2nd Gen models. Built for overland adventures, it combines winch readiness with a strong, streamlined profile—no welding or plastic bumper cutting required. Minor trimming under the headlights ensures a precise fit while keeping maintenance simple.

Key Features

• 100% bolt-on installation with no welding required; minor trimming of the sheet metal bracket under the headlights is needed.
• Winch compatible with front cutouts for winch rope access and clutch lever; fits most winches in the 8k–12k range.
• Relocation of the electrical control box is recommended for some setups; integrated control box winches may require trimming of grille support brackets.
• Common winches that fit include ComeUp, Smittybilt X20, Warn Zeon, and VR series; synthetic rope with a hawse fairlead is recommended for best fitment. Some roller fairleads may be too large for the recessed fairlead mounting plate.

Construction & Build

• Winch plate and mounting plates are constructed from 1/4" thick steel; bumper main body is 3/16" thick steel.
• Tubing is 1 3/4" OD with 1/8" wall thickness; 3/4" thick D-ring tabs are fully welded front and back.
• Weight varies by configuration: 125 lbs (no bull bar), 130 lbs (Mid-Height Bull Bar), 137 lbs (Full Height Bull Bar with side tube gussets).

Lighting & Fitment

• Designed to accommodate 30" single-row light bars, specifically tailored for Baja Designs S8.
• Also compatible with Extreme LED 30" 5D light bars and RIGID 30" SR series.

Compatibility Notes

• Additional Front Bumper Frame Support Brackets are included with all 2nd Gen Tacoma Overland and Hybrid front bumpers (a $177 value).
• For optimal results, synthetic rope with a hawse style fairlead is recommended; some roller fairleads may not fit the recessed mounting plate.

Finish & Installation Care

Finish option: Unless you choose our powder-coated option, this bumper will need to be painted or powder coated prior to installation to prevent rust.
