Crafted from 3/16-inch CNC-cut steel, it mounts securely to the frame at the front and rear, providing rigidity and protection against rocks, roots, and trail debris. Note: not compatible with double cab long bed models.

Construction & Protection

Engineered for durability, the skid plate uses a 3/16-inch CNC-cut steel plate for lasting impact resistance. The solid bottom panel adds strength and helps spread impact forces, reducing the chance of damage to the fuel system. Front and rear frame mounts lock the plate in place, delivering a robust shield that resists bending or collapse under demanding off-road conditions. Total weight: 53 lbs.

Fitment & Installation

Designed specifically for Toyota Tacoma 2nd Gen pickups produced from 2005 to 2015. It does NOT fit double cab long bed models. The design is 100% bolt-on, and all mounting hardware is included for a straightforward install—no drilling or grinding required. Front and rear frame-mount interfaces maximize rigidity and minimize movement during use.

Coating & Rust Prevention

To prevent rust, you can choose the powder-coated option or paint/coat the plate prior to installation. If you select the standard finish, coating before installation is recommended. The powder-coated option provides a durable, corrosion-resistant surface out of the box.
