C4 Fabrication Rotopax / Maxtrax Mount

The C4 Fabrication Rotopax / Maxtrax Mount is an integrated mounting solution that combines RotoPax fuel or water storage with Maxtrax recovery gear in a single, secure setup. Built for overlanders and off-road enthusiasts, it offers flexible mounting options—from C4 swing outs to flat surfaces—so you can organize essential gear and access it quickly on the trail.

• Mounting bracket and hardware to mount RotoPax and Maxtrax together in one setup.
• Designed to bolt onto C4 swing outs, with capability to mount to other flat surfaces if four 3/8″ diameter holes match the bolt pattern.
• Six 3/8″ x 1″ carriage head bolts required for mounting to a flat surface.
• Maxtrax compatibility: Maxtrax brand mounting pins can be used to attach Maxtrax to the mount, but are not required; carriage bolts with wing nuts are supplied to attach Maxtrax if needed.
• RotoPax compatibility: holds up to four 2 gallon fuel or water RotoPax, or up to two 4 gallon fuel or water RotoPax. RotoPax brand Pack Mounts are also required to mount RotoPax to this system.
• Maximum versatility for placement and loadout, with optional license plate mount with light to relocate the plate to a more visible location.
• Finish considerations: unless you choose the powder coated option, the kit will need to be painted or powder coated before installation to prevent rust.

Mounting options and installation

• Mounts to a flat surface using six 3/8″ x 1″ carriage head bolts.
• Kit is designed to bolt onto C4 swing outs but can also be mounted to other flat surfaces as long as four 3/8″ diameter holes are available to match the bolt pattern of the mount.

Capacity and compatibility

• Holds up to four Maxtrax.
• Holds up to four 2 gallon fuel or water RotoPax, or up to two 4 gallon fuel or water RotoPax.
• RotoPax Pack Mounts required to mount RotoPax to this mounting system.

Finish and maintenance

Unless you select the powder coated option, this product will need to be painted or powder coated before installation to prevent rust.

Optional accessories

• Optional license plate mount with light to relocate the plate to a visible location so the plate is not hidden for the user’s specific application.
