C4 Fabrication Rotopax / Maxtrax Mount

The C4 Fabrication Rotopax / Maxtrax Mount is a compact, all-in-one mounting solution that keeps your RotoPax fuel or water canisters and Maxtrax recovery boards secure on one site. Designed for off-road rigs and overlanders, it offers flexible mounting options and a clean, streamlined look for easier access on the trail.

What this mount does

• Mounts RotoPax and Maxtrax together in a single setup for organized, efficient storage.
• Designed to bolt onto C4 swing outs, and can also be mounted to other flat surfaces as long as four 3/8" diameter holes match the bolt pattern.
• Holds up to four Maxtrax boards; Maxtrax mounting pins can be used to attach Maxtrax to the mount, but pins are not required.
• Carriage bolts with wing nuts are supplied to attach Maxtrax if needed.
• Capacity for RotoPax: up to four 2-gallon fuel or water canisters, or up to two 4-gallon fuel or water canisters. RotoPax brand Pack Mounts are required to mount RotoPax to this system.
• Mounts to a flat surface using six 3/8" x 1" carriage head bolts.
• Optional license plate mount with light available to relocate the plate to a visible location for your application.
• If you do not choose the powder-coated option, the mount will need to be painted or powder coated before installation to prevent rust.

Compatibility and installation notes

• Primarily designed for C4 swing outs but compatible with other flat surfaces that accommodate the same bolt pattern (four 3/8" holes).
• RotoPax integration requires RotoPax Pack Mounts (sold separately) to secure canisters to the mounting system.

Finish and maintenance

• Powder-coated option available for corrosion resistance; otherwise painting or powder coating is recommended prior to installation to prevent rust.
