The C4 Fabrication Rotopax / Maxtrax Mount is a compact, all-in-one mounting solution designed for off-road setups that want to carry RotoPax fuel or water alongside Maxtrax recovery boards. Built to complement 4Runner rear bumpers, it consolidates essential gear into a sturdy bracket you can trust on rugged trails. Designed for versatility, the kit can bolt onto C4 swing outs or be mounted to other flat surfaces that align with the bolt pattern.

Compatibility & mounting options

The kit is designed to bolt onto C4 swing outs but may be mounted to other flat surfaces as long as four 3/8″ holes are available to match the bolt pattern. This provides flexibility for different vehicle configurations while keeping a secure, integrated mounting profile for both RotoPax and Maxtrax.

Capacity & mounting requirements

Capable of carrying up to four Maxtrax boards and up to four RotoPax containers (four 2 gallon units or two 4 gallon units). To mount RotoPax, RotoPax brand Pack Mounts are required. Some installation methods may use Maxtrax pins for attachment, but they are not mandatory.

Hardware, finish, and installation considerations

Includes mounting bracket and hardware, plus carriage bolts with wing nuts to attach Maxtrax if needed. Mounts to a flat surface using six 3/8″x1″ carriage head bolts. If you prefer a rust-resistant finish, you can choose the powder coated option or plan to paint/powder coat before installation to ensure longevity in harsh environments.

Optional accessories

An optional license plate mount with light is available to relocate the plate to a more visible location for your specific application, helping maintain compliance and visibility without compromising gear layout.
