Factor 55 The Flat Splicer — the world's first splice-on folding winch rope shackle mount thimble

Integrated EPDM rubber pads provide fairlead protection, reducing wear on both the rope and the fairlead surfaces.
Only 1.75 inches thick and foldable, it lies flat against winch fairleads to minimize vehicle frontal protrusion without sacrificing function.
Interfaces with pin and bow ends of common 3/4" shackles and the pin ends of larger 7/8" shackles for versatile compatibility.
Rope exits from the middle of the part and can route 90 degrees along the inner radius, then back toward the winch for clean, controlled spooling.
Groove-side routing toward the winch protects the end of your synthetic rope from UV light and abrasion while preserving your vehicle’s approach angle.
Note: requires synthetic rope splicing knowledge (Brummel Splice or Long Bury Splice recommended); WLL depends on rope diameter, and the design exceeds minimum bend radius to maintain full breaking strength; Made in USA; Patent Pending.
