    Factor 55 The Flat Splicer — the world's first splice-on folding winch rope shackle mount thimble

    • Integrated EPDM rubber pads provide fairlead protection, reducing wear on both the rope and the fairlead surfaces.
    • Only 1.75 inches thick and foldable, it lies flat against winch fairleads to minimize vehicle frontal protrusion without sacrificing function.
    • Interfaces with pin and bow ends of common 3/4" shackles and the pin ends of larger 7/8" shackles for versatile compatibility.
    • Rope exits from the middle of the part and can route 90 degrees along the inner radius, then back toward the winch for clean, controlled spooling.
    • Groove-side routing toward the winch protects the end of your synthetic rope from UV light and abrasion while preserving your vehicle’s approach angle.
    • Note: requires synthetic rope splicing knowledge (Brummel Splice or Long Bury Splice recommended); WLL depends on rope diameter, and the design exceeds minimum bend radius to maintain full breaking strength; Made in USA; Patent Pending.
