    Factor 55 The Flat Splicer: World’s First Splice-On Folding Winch Rope Shackle Mount Thimble

    • Ultra-compact foldable design minimizes vehicle frontal protrusion by folding flat against winch fairleads (only 1.75 in thick) and features integrated EPDM rubber pads for fairlead protection.
    • Shackle compatibility: accepts the pin and bow ends of common 3/4" shackles and the pin ends of larger 7/8" shackles.
    • Innovative rope routing: the splice-on design allows the rope to exit the center and be directed 90 degrees along the inner radius back toward the winch.
    • Rope protection and storage: can be stowed with the groove facing the winch to shield rope from UV light and abrasion while preserving your vehicle's approach angle.
    • Splice knowledge required: unlike Factor 55 ProLink and Flatlink shackle mounts, The Flat Splicer requires synthetic rope splicing knowledge; recommended Brummel Splice or Long Bury Splice.
    • Performance and durability: Working Load Limit (WLL) is based on rope diameter used; designed to exceed minimum bend radius to preserve full breaking strength of synthetic winch lines.
