    Factor 55 The Flat Splicer: The World’s First Splice-On Folding Winch Rope Shackle Mount Thimble

    • 1.75" thick and fold-flat design minimizes vehicle frontal protrusion while protecting the winch and fairlead with integrated EPDM rubber pads.
    • Connects to both the pin and bow ends of common 3/4" screw-pin shackles and to the pin ends of larger 7/8" shackles for versatile compatibility.
    • The rope exits the middle of the part and can be routed 90 degrees along the inner radius back toward the winch, enabling clean spooling and reduced edge wear.
    • Stow the groove side facing toward the winch to eliminate exposed rope from UV light and impact/abrasion, preserving rope life without compromising your approach angle.
    • Because this is a splice-on shackle mount, the Working Load Limit (WLL) depends on the rope diameter used; synthetic rope splicing knowledge is required, with Brummel Splice or Long Bury Splice recommended.
    • Made in USA with Patent Pending status.
    • Designed to exceed minimum bend radius requirements to maintain full breaking strength for synthetic winch lines.
