    The Flat Splicer by Factor 55 — World’s First Splice-On Folding Winch Rope Shackle Mount Thimble

    • World’s first splice-on folding shackle mount thimble that integrates with the pin and bow ends of common 3/4" shackles and pin ends of larger 7/8" shackles for a streamlined install.
    • Ultra-compact, flat profile that folds flush against winch fairleads to minimize frontal protrusion and preserve your vehicle’s approach angle.
    • Only 1.75 inches thick with integrated EPDM rubber pads to protect the fairlead and shield the winch rope from abrasion and UV exposure when stowed.
    • Rope routing capability allows the spliced rope to exit the middle, run 90 degrees along the inner radius, and return toward the winch for a clean, low-wear path.
    • Designed to meet minimum bend radius requirements, helping maintain the full breaking strength of your synthetic winch line.
    • Footprint dimensions: 4" L x 6" W with a 4" height; weight 1.44 lbs. Made in USA; Patent Pending.
    • Important usage note: requires synthetic rope splicing knowledge; recommended Brummel Splice or Long Bury Splice, unlike some other Factor 55 mounts.
