    Factor 55 1.5" Aluminum Hawse Fairlead

    • Machined from 1.5 inch thick USA 6000 series aluminum bar, delivering significantly more strength than standard fairleads built from 0.75 inch stock.
    • The thicker stock creates a larger outer fillet radius for the synthetic rope to slide against, reducing fiber stress during high angular pulls and extending rope life.
    • Taller opening design accepts larger rope tube thimbles, improving compatibility with bigger fittings.
    • Machined outer corner chamfer helps minimize rope stress when using the winch as a front suspension "suck down" device.
    • Finished in MIL-A-8625F TYPE III gun metal gray hard anodized coating with a laser-engraved Factor 55 logo for durability and branding.
    • The Type III hard anodized coating yields a 0.002" Al2O3 ceramic layer that resists abrasion from gritty synthetic rope and maintains a low coefficient of friction to reduce rope heat.
    • Hard gray anodized finish is the proven choice for extending the life of your synthetic rope in extreme pulling conditions.

    • Always confirm that the synthetic rope cannot make contact to any sharp edges like the opening in the steel fairlead mounting plate or bumper opening. In some cases it may be required to grind this slot larger. Always sand and deburr this opening after any grinding operation.
    • Durable MIL-A-8625F TYPE III gun metal gray hard anodized finish to resist the abrasion damage from a dirty/gritty synthetic winch rope rubbing across it
