The Diamondback SE tonneau cover is a worthy investment for your truck. With it being made of aluminum diamond plate, it is far more durable than a fiberglass or vinyl cover. The Diamondback SE is constructed from .080″ (2mm) 3003 alloy aluminum, and has two panels for bed access. As far as security is concerned, there are die- cast zinc lock handles (3/8″ (9.53 mm) deadbolt style steel lock rods) on both the front and rear panel. Diamondback uses flat head machine screws with nylon lock- nuts makes it very difficult to tamper with the hinges. The EPDM neoprene compression gasket runs along the perimeter to protect the items under your cover dry regardless of the weather. At the hinge point there are gutters for drainage. The exterior hardware is made of stainless steel, and additional tie down cleats are sold separately (comes with four tie down cleats). This cover comes with everything needed for installation, and installation should take less that an hour.
