ICOM IC-2730A VHF/UHF FM Transceivers provide VHF/VHF, UHF/UHF simultaneous receive capability in addition to VHF/UHF receive.
These transceivers have a built-in duplexer, so you can use a 144 and 430 MHz dual-band antenna without needing an external duplexer. Main dials, volume, squelch knobs and primary control buttons are symmetrically laid out for each band.
IC-2730A receivers cover 118-174 and 375-550MHz. You will be able to listen to aviation, marine, weather channels and other utility communications. The display size of ICOM’s IC-2730A is 1.5 times larger than ICOM’s other comparable models. Frequency display and channel names are larger, and the white backlight provides higher contrast.
