The customer can select the colour of backlight at any time after the lamp is in installed on a vehicle, by flashing the back-light on\/off a pre-set number of times. The customer may switch back to the other back-light colour by repeating the sequence of on\/off flashing on this function.Operating in the High Beam – Boost Mode, the Carbon-2 DRIVE is compliant with DOT\/SAE standards, for on-road high beam use. The high-intensity beam pattern of the Carbon-2 SPOT sits beyond the DOT\/SAE standard limit, and is delivered in this high output condition. To operate the Carbon-2 SPOT in Low ouptut mode (DOT\/SAE compliant - 25% light output), the customer can ‘program’ the light by flashing the lights off\/on a set number of times prior to use.
